We are searching for a positive and dedicated Sales Assistant to join our friendly team in Farncombe! This is a part-time position (21 hours per week) at our shop located at GU7 3BA. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a wonderful cause!

  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week, 3 days out of 7
  • Pay: £12.21 per hour
  • Salary: £13,333.32 per annum

What You will Be Doing:

As a Sales Assistant, you will be essential to the day-to-day success of our shop. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • Processing sales and handling transactions efficiently
  • Maintaining attractive shop floor displays
  • Sorting and pricing donated stock with care and empathy
  • Encouraging stock donations and Gift Aid sign-ups
  • Working collaboratively with our valued team of volunteers
  • Supporting the Shop Manager in all aspects of shop operations

Who We are Looking For:

  • Retail experience in a busy store
  • A strong team player
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to work some Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays
  • Ability to lift and move donated items of various sizes and weights on a frequent basis
