As a Store Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day‑to‑day running of our Normanton shop. You will help maximise income through excellent customer service, strong visual standards, and effective stock handling, while supporting colleagues and volunteers to deliver a welcoming and inclusive shopping experience. By role modelling the DEBRA values, you will help create a positive environment focused on making a real impact for the EB community.
Our Normanton retail store is recruiting a Store Assistant on a Part Time, Permanent basis, working 7 hours per week, 1 day out of 7, earning £12.71 per hour / £4,626.44 per annum.
About DEBRA
We are a national charity that supports individuals and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) – a painful genetic skin blistering condition which, in the worst cases, can be fatal.
What we are looking for in our Store Assistant
You will be enthusiastic, reliable, and customer‑focused, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. You will enjoy working as part of a team, supporting both colleagues and volunteers, and contributing to the smooth and efficient running of our Normanton store.
Retail experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
